Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Advocate with a strong background in banking and insurance law. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience and be capable of handling legal matters related to financial institutions, insurance policies, contracts, compliance, and litigation.

Key Responsibilities

✔️ Provide legal advisory services on banking and insurance matters
✔️ Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and legal documents
✔️ Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards
✔️ Represent clients in court proceedings, arbitration, and negotiations
✔️ Conduct legal research and provide opinions on various legal issues
✔️ Handle dispute resolution and risk management strategies
✔️ Liaise with regulatory bodies and financial institutions
✔️ Advise on corporate governance and legal compliance issues

Requirements

✔️ Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LL.B) from a recognized institution
✔️ Advocate of the High Court of Kenya with a valid practicing certificate
✔️ 5+ years of experience in banking and insurance law (added advantage)
✔️ Strong knowledge of financial regulations and compliance
✔️ Excellent drafting, negotiation, and litigation skills
✔️ Ability to work independently and make sound legal judgments
✔️ Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
